This unique television UI approaches navigation with the idea of a seamless viewing experience.

 

The user is allowed to navigate channels without interrupting current viewing. Using a transparent overlay with channel/listings, the user can view content while navigating a list.

 

The added ability to access content detail will allow the user to quickly make informed decisions.

OVERLAY NAVIGATION

Television UI is presented as a translucent overlay allowing the current content to continue playing. The content selection and details are presented in logical progression on top of overlay panels.

PICTURE PREVIEW WITH NAVIGATION

The viewer can see a preview of selected content as they navigate content thumbnails or listings.

CHANNEL GRID WITH CATEGORIES

A standard channel grid with navigation is also displayed on a translucent panel. The added intuitive categories can speed up navigation on the grid.
