MOBILE REMOTE CONTROL WITH CONTENT BROWSING INTERFACE

MOBILE RCU USER EXPERIENCE

 

This Mobile RCU has a primary mode of navigating the 10ft experience along with media browsing.

 

Trick Play functionality is presented with a “Jogwheel” style interface. The “Jogwheel” metaphor from the recording industry is very recognizable and a bit fun.

 

Some education or prompting may be applied at onboarding or startup of the application for more complex combinations of functionality. The secondary mode of media browsing is integrated into the control functions and customized transport controls.

BROWSING CONTENT

One of the unique features is the ability to leverage HTML5 video previews. Lists are updated and the user can browse/select content.

JOGWHEEL INTERFACE

Transport controls using the “Jogwheel” metaphor allows the user to scrub video and control playhead positioning of content being viewed.

USER SELECTS STYLE OF CONTROL

Controlling the 10ft experience is combined with the ability to browse devices and content.
